A series of plant stands and table Centerpieces made from my firewood while I explored tools and techniques in my shop for larger projects in July of 2021

I think they’re a playful dichotomy of the flat images in wood when cut totally flat, how delicate and nostalgic, versus the raw strength it shows when hewn with an axe, but at the same time, warmth in a world filled with machine flatness

Plant stands are 10-12” tall and have 6” or 12” tops. Teardrop centerpieces are 2-3” tall, 11” long and 7” wide at the widest
